About Us

"Good Dogs Training Camp" is dedicated to helping improve the quality of the relationship between you and your dog.  We offer several customized programs to help you manage your dogs behavior. From puppyhood on up through maturity, our programs are designed to educate your dog through each developmental stage and keep you on the path to a well mannered pet. If you have an older dog with a list of issues,  No problem! It's never to late to get started. We can fix problem dogs and make good dogs even better.

We begin by creating a strong foundation of communication to work from via obedience training. With a few basic commands you are able to teach new behaviors and eliminate the bad ones. Once an obedience program is completed you may choose from a variety of programs to advance your dog's training.

Train your dog to be a good family member

We love animals! We are blessed to have the opportunity to share experiences with so many wonderful dogs and their owners. Keeping a dog in good relations with his family keeps him off the streets and out of the pound and that is very satisfying to us. We understand the challenges of balancing a career, family, hobbies and a relationship with a dog. Let us help you design a program that you can live with.

ASPCA Seal of Approval

There are many training methods to choose from when considering the education of your pet. With over 28 years of experience in dog training we have found that an eclectic approach to training is the most productive.    Choosing from a wide range of training ideas will help us determine the best technique suited for your dogs unique personality. The decision for the type of collar, treats or no treats, more assertivness , more motivation etc.....will be determined on an individual basis. We consider the training process and purpose "communication" not "dicipline". Teaching and then motivating the dog to repeat the behavior is the right choice. The focus should be on directing not correcting the dog.
